Is $125 too much for Babymetal tickets?

I’m waffling on whether or not to go for it, and just wanted to share a recent infatuation.

Are they headlining? If so I wouldn’t. They sound great, but they’re a band i’d like to see open for a bigger act for the $125.

If you’re a die hard, then it’s worth it. Ill shell that much for some of my favorite bands, jut not babymetal.

I saw them on Wednesday and it was the most fun I have ever had at a show. Avatar kicks ass too but BabyMetal live was just magic. For $125 I would be expecting damn good seats but my perspective is probably skewed since I paid $120 to be front row for Metalica in 2017. I paid $52 before ticketmasters fees for my tickets for Wednesday and got a damn good view as this shitty iPhone photo shows:

Boston House of Blues is a smaller venue and I bought general admission mezzanine tickets which gave us free roam of the second story balcony. I ended up getting a completely unobstructed view from about 30ft from the stage. $125 would be worth it for a similar view or getting GA on the floor in my opinion. My  Mezz tickets were cheap because you either get an amazing view like the one I got or a completely garbage view. $125 to lock in a view like I got would be well worth it in my opinion.

Get yourself a ticket that gets you a good view and fucking do it. They put on an amazing show, the unreleased stuff from the new album kicks ass, the energy is insane, and it’s just a damn good time. They weren’t 1/3 through the set (which was so good that I can’t come up with anything I would have done to change) before “fly to Japan and see one of their big shows” was firmly planted on my bucket list.

Of course I was a massive BabyMetal fan before going and seeing them live only made me an even bigger fan.

True. I saw Maiden last week in Tacoma. Worth every penny.

I came across them recently in my YouTube time wasting and they seem fantastic. I’m actually going to Japan next week, but they’re in town here a few weeks later.

Btw: $120 for front row at Metallica is CHEAP. 10/10 w ould buy.

I was first introduced to them when my friend showed me Gimme Chocolate back in 2014 when it first dropped. I blew it off as a bit of a meme at the time (huge mistake on my part) and almost forgot about them until this spring. At the time with all the stress of finishing school, life responsibilities, moving out on my own, etc I was pretty down on myself. It wasn’t a dark place but more of a dim place I couldn’t find the way out of. Then Megitsune randomly popped up in my YouTube feed to remind me that BabyMetal exists and is amazing. Their energy has just been one hell of a pick-me-up and really kick started me being much happier now than I was 6 months ago.

$120 was the fan club price for GA floor tickets to see them on the WorldWired Tour in 2017. My best friend and I had been wanting to see them for probably 8 years at that point so as soon as that tour was announced I was prepared to pay and do whatever it took to be front row for that show.

Demand pricing has kicked in. It looks like a NO.  :(
